Marshall Tucker Band Shipshewana Concert reviews
Had to leave! So loud that I thought my were bleeding
I have been to the Parker many times since the remodeling. I’ve always enjoyed my time @ the Parker and have never had a problem with excessive volume. I have found in the past that the people working at the sound booth to do an excellent job.
However this concert was the exception. The sound booth was not a tentative to the level of the volume coming off the stage nor was it properly balanced. The flute that the band is characteristic for was harsh and piercing. I felt like my ears were going to bleed. .
My wife and I left early about 30 minutes into the concert because we just could not handle it. In the past I’ve carried earplugs to other venues but never had to do it at the Parker because they always properly mixed the volume and the sound. Horrible job by the sound booth.
They need to be replaced
